Do we provide long-distance moving?
Yes, many of our local moving companies do offer statewide and sometimes nationwide relocations. Choose your location in the list above to verify if this service is available in your area.
What types of moves do we handle?
Our local movers will generally anything from single pieces to apartments, condos, offices, restaurants, retail stores, or single-family residences. Get in touch with one of our local network members to verify what services they offer in your area.
Are we licensed and insured?
Yes, all of the moving companies in the Empire Mover's Network are licensed and insured. You can rest assured that you are in good hands with our movers and that the job will be done quickly and efficiently.
How many movers do you provide?
It depends on the size of the job. Most moves require only two or three movers while some may require up to five movers. Rest assured, all of our movers are clean-cut, professionals and will get the job done fast and efficiently.
When is the best time to move?
The busiest times for our moving companies are during the summer months, May 15 - September 15. At the end of these months, the volume of shipments is extremely heavy. Even in the busy times we strive to offer quick service to all of our customers.
When should I start getting estimates?
Try to provide the moving companies with as much notice as possible, especially if you are moving during the busy season as noted above. 6 weeks from the actual move date is not too early for estimators to come into your home to complete an estimate.
